Ciao tutti miei amici.. well can anyone tell me whats ARAMAITI ? been receivin and hearing this all the time.. i know its got to do bout some kadazan word or slang or somethin.. i m really out dated here.. chakap bahassa pun indak fasih suda.. correct kah?

ok here s for all sabahans!!!! so i d better put it in slang sabah lah if i can still remember how so not to offend the smart west malayans!!
sia ada balik MALAYSIA bah satu kali dari bulan sembilan sampai bulan duablas itu taun 2005. jadi ini time di KL lah.. sia ada pigi buking tiket bah untuk balik italy saaana ejen di sg wang plaza.. jadi sudah lah abis buking.. cakap cakap sikit lah,, itu ejen tanya sia lah.. what is your bangsa ooh? sia bilang.. i am mix kadazan, dusun and chinese lah.. trus dia bilang lagi.. aaah!! i was in kuching last holiday with my husband ooh!! so you people still live in the long house aaahh? punya sia main tekejut dingar dia bilang begitu!!..dalam hati sia lah,, buduh kah ? inda ada pigi skulah ni sumandak? sia pun jawab lah.. eerrr.. yes,, we dusun still live in long houses only thing is that we now bath in the house already..no more mandi in the river loh!. we also got also got 7 inches tv now and solar powered telephone lines.. gettin modern mah !! which province of CHINA again u said come from? i said.. eh no lah.. i m flom MALAYSIA woo !! i born in KL mah! she said.. so then i said.. solly ah! i thought all mata sepet from CHINA!! …..
so guys .. heard of IBAN AND DAYAK piara karabau in Tuaran and tanam sayur in kundasang? hhmmmmm.. palui bah this people!!!


so before goin back to italy last Dec. 2005.. sia singgah lah sana kadai souvenir dalam bb plaza.. .. sudah abis bili barang.. itu tauke tanya sia lah.. .. kite ni orang mane ye? sia pun jawab berslang KL lah.. saye orang SABAH bang.. then he said.. first time kat KL ke? i responded.. tak lah bang, slalu jugak datang shopping.. then this pakcik said something i can never forget!!!!.. oohh.. selamat datang ke MALAYSIA ye… my eyes pun terbeliak !!! i slammed the door at his face and .. i just dont know what to say or think…

i bet u other sabahans had encountered something like this there too right? share it!! ARAMAITI? apalah tu?

   i totally understand what ur sayin man..eh, since your entry is dedicated to sabahans ba sa pun kasi slang sabah la ni kalii. dlu sa d kl ada kawan sa punya kawan yg mimang urang sana slapas dia tau sa dari sabah trus dia tanya sa sualan bonus “kamu orang sabah masih tinggal atas pokok ke?” i was thinking, is he trying to be stupid or just born stupid? trus sa jawap la “yaa masih! tapi kami naik lif oh kalu mo turun.. ko tia heran?” hahahaha trus diam2 dia. tiatau dia diam2 pasal mo imagine ka apa wakakaka. maksud aramaiti yg sa tau, macam kumpul ramai2 and then moginum & enjoy gitu ka (ba, sepa2 correct me la ah if im wrong) abis slalu urang kasi kait ni aramaiti sama moginum ba jadi tu ja understanding yg sa tau hehe

   sabahan going to KL the first time will surely experience smthing like u did. exactly like my first experience to KL.. the same stupid question, “atas pokok”!! conclusion is, they must be so stupid and lack of knowledge, oh and the ’selamat datang ke malaysia thing’.. i think i know why they are saying this.. because if they go to sabah, passport yg dorang pakai tu kena cop ‘welcome to malaysia’ tht’s why they like to tease sabahan with that phrase.. neways, bukan semua org KL layan org sabah begitu la.. byk yg baik2 juga.

   Ooi Aaron, kau bilang ada darah Kadazan how come au ko koiho meaning ‘Aramaiti’? It means “It’s very lively” ba itu orang putih bilang. Not necessary ada moginum or yamseng ba..but because kadazan parties slalu ada moginum so orang pun kasi kait aramaiti with moginum.

    Some orang semenanjung are more hidung tinggi type of attitude. They feel that they’re better than the “orang utan” out east. I’ve been asked the same question with living in the pokok one. six days in kk

ciao a tutti !! wow.. kk got flyover? that s something very new to me here.. i see more cars , roads, buildings and of course more people!! my first day i tried the SECRET RECIPE place at err.. what is it called again the one behind centre point? anyhow.. so tried their black pepper grilled chicken and the mushroom chicken and it tasted ok lah .so my curiosity takes me to their kitchenlah hoping to see how their so called chef prepare them,, suprised am i not to see when i saw just these local boys sooo senang senang simply tear up the lid of the frozen what ever sauce readily made packed into rectangular transparent containers heating em up in microwave ovens and pour em over the grilled chicken on the lettuce garnished large plate.. punya lah senang.. dont want to say bad lah but if u want something original and freshly made from hot kitchen,, i suggest u wait till i open my own place.. hehehhe.. though i still havent tried their variety of cheese cakes yet lah.. that ll be soon..
i do not wish to tell u this but just for others to know.. i am a local here from kk and bred and grew up in kk.. from the first day at the airport till yesterday the friday.. people or strangers just about anyone kept asking me whether am i from sabah or am i a local or not? i bravely enough asked themlah why say like that? same answer i get lah.. i jsut dont look like orang sabah.. helllooooo!! i said.. i showed them my ic and even told them my kampungs.. no coincidence then.. some happen to be related to me from relatives ive never heard of… yep .. small world they said.. my dad knows very well cathy’s dad as well.. her mum cud even be related to our family.. i just find out oso that my grandgrandparents are tambunan-ians.. this one more thing im not makin it up is that comments i get especially from the malays is that i look like some famous malay actor… just wont tell u his name!! yaiiik!! this morning the saturday 061007.. i attended my cousins wedding.. Dominic Ghani at st simon and met the rest of the family and friends.. this is a sign i guess for me to prepare for mine oso soon.. ehehhe..

i was involved in a small car accident on wednesday at kingfisher roundabout.. and pittied the ums physcology student from penang who did not know what to do next.. told him i ll handle everythin and as promised this monday im gonna take his kancil to be fixed in inanam ..my amore’s car escaped unscratched.. oso got problems with my passport renewal which takes a months to be released bcoz of damage ..guess gonna be stuck here in kk again for while… im hangin out rite now at my sister’s place at indah court coz i still dont know how to connect my laptop to the streamyx at my amore’s home.. i dont know what to do next here in this desert climate kk and if u guys wanna take me out… feel free to call me… oh ya!! i wanna go see elephant and orang utan.. …016 846 0252 ciao ciao arrivederci!! tomoro i ll be at tg aru ballroom.. now im goin to damai .. some fusion food lah… got to experiment this things…. so far had 5 pieces of hot and spicy oredi.. yum yum!! shud i tell oso about my diarheas? bah.. raya is coming soon.. hope my buddies are back here from overseas. dapat juga makan kuih raya free.. heheh.. to chef zaldom who is still stuck in london… i still havent yet try the bambangan.. nanti lah.. next sunday goin to papar for my cousin nestor’s grandma’s birthday and there i can eat like godoot all the kadazan delicacies.. pity oso si chef nestor who is stuck in new zealand and cant balik kampung.. oklah… thinkin of goin to shanny tonite.. see you if i see u there!! sono molto felice !!!!

ciao tutti a kota kinabalu!! mi dispiace !! im very sorry again.. yeh kept many guessing and wondering.. am i really back here in kk? telling u the truth ,, yep.. im back.. got here in a last minute plane and soo suddenly that my parents didnt even know.. so far have met my mum only but not my dad yet… just met my two other little sisters and their adorable babies… muah muah.. i couldnt log in to the net coz either i havent got time yet or too lazy to connect my laptop to the snail streamyx … dont even know how to set it actually.. but im in no rush.. my first day was like hell here… i meant like i touched down at kepayan airport at 1500 on monday the heat just made my day here even worse.. can contact me at 016 846 0252 for now.. see you guys ciao

SUMMER HOLIDAY JULY / AUGUST OF 2007..

DEPART FROM MILAN BY TRAM TO THE TRAIN STATION AND 12 HOURS NON STOP BY NIGHT TRAIN TO THE PORT.TAKE BOAT AT 6AM TO SICILY ISLAND. ARRIVED AT MESSINA CITY IN 30 MINUTES.CONTINUE TRAIN JOURNEY TO PALERMO CITY FOR ANOTHER 3 HOURS..WHILE ENJOYING THE NICE VIEW.

.ARRIVED AT PALERMO CITY TRAIN STATION AROUND NOON.DIRECTLY TO MONDELO BEACH TOWN.HALF HOUR DRIVE AND STRAIGHT TO SEE MY BOSS AND HIS #$%^^&½€¤ WIFE..VIEW FROM THE DINING ROOM WAS AWESOME AND SO WAS THE SUROUNDINGS.. MET THE KIDS AND WE HAD FUN AT THE BEACH..LET THE PHOTOS TELL THE STORY FOR NOW.. ENJOY LAH..
